Yard Rescue
Busy seasons, illness, vacant property, inherited land or plain bad luck—yards get away from people. Happy Hippie Yards is not there to judge the story.
Darrell will look at what is manageable, identify a sensible starting point and quote the work clearly. Rescue work may include mowing, trimming, accessible brush, cleanup and related outdoor tasks that fit the equipment and safe scope.

Meet the owner
I started Happy Hippie Yards because homeowners deserve somebody who answers, explains the work and treats their property with respect.
I handle the quote conversations and the work, so you know who you are dealing with. The goal is not to turn every yard into a country-club lawn. It is to help make the property cleaner, safer, easier to manage and better to come home to.
The Good Vibes Promise
Good vibes are the attitude. Good work is the standard. You should know who you are dealing with, what is included and how to reach the person responsible.
Real local contact before, during and after the work.
No surprise additions without discussing them first.
Care around gates, structures, vehicles, pets and existing landscaping.
If something within the agreed scope was missed, contact Darrell promptly so it can be reviewed.
What you can expect
Direct contact with the owner instead of a maze of departments.
The work is discussed before it is added to the job.
The goal is to leave the outdoor space better than it was found.
East Texas weather happens. Delays are communicated instead of ignored.
Two different tools
The ballpark estimator and quote request are separate. The estimator calculates privately and sends nothing unless the customer chooses to email the result.
Planning tool
Choose services and measurements, then see an immediate itemized range. No name, phone number or address is required to calculate.
Actual job review
Send the property details and an optional photo so Darrell can confirm access, condition, scope and the final price.
Free quote request
Most quote requests receive a response within one business day.
The builder takes about two minutes. Photos are optional but usually help Darrell understand the property before scheduling a visit.
Avoid including people, license plates, mail labels or other unnecessary identifying details in photos.
Thanks! Darrell received the request. The page will open a confirmation screen in a moment.
Service area
Happy Hippie Yards serves Tyler, Flint, Noonday, Whitehouse, Bullard, Chandler, Lake Palestine and nearby East Texas communities when the job and route make sense.
Outside the list? Send the location. Darrell will tell you honestly whether it fits the route.
Frequently asked
Not always. Access, gates, pets, water availability and the agreed work determine whether someone needs to be present. Darrell will confirm before scheduling.
Yes. One-time cleanup, yard rescue, pressure washing and other practical projects are welcome when they fit the route and equipment.
Most pressure-washing jobs need access to a working outdoor spigot. The quote form asks whether one is available so Darrell can confirm the setup before scheduling. Choose “Not sure” when you do not know.
Yes. Photos are one of the quickest ways to start. Include a wide view, the problem area and anything that affects access.
Send photos without worrying about judgment. Darrell will determine what is manageable, what needs to be staged and whether any part requires a different specialist.
Rain, saturated ground, extreme heat and storms can change the schedule. The goal is to communicate the delay and protect the property rather than force work in poor conditions.
Not automatically. Hazardous trees, work near power lines, large-scale removal and jobs beyond the available equipment may require a properly equipped specialist. The quote will state what is and is not included.
